Release-blocker fix for a critical regression introduced in v3.8.1: OmenCore hung and was force-closed by Windows within 10-20 seconds of launch on affected hardware. Rewrote the named-pipe HardwareWorker client to serialize requests and recover from timed-out reads. v3.8.1 is withdrawn as a recommended download.
